


An amateur photographer's search for the perfect picture.
Sometimes you get a great photo not because of your great technical or composition skills, but because you were in the right place at the right time. I did tweak this photo a little: cropped it, turned it black and white and blurred the edges in order to emphasize the content. But, it's that content - the look on the face of the father as he gazes into the face of his infant son - that make this a great photo.

Ok. It's obvious that a busy librarian with two children and a husband in the military is not going to be able to find a new photo a day. So, let's shoot for at least one new photo a week.
